Walmart/Sam’s Club Program
For 27 years, Wolverton partnered with Wal-Mart to deliver its capital program throughout the United States. Wolverton assisted Wal-Mart with hundreds of Super Centers, Neighborhood Markets and Sam’s Club locations in Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Viriginia since our inception in 1989. These projects included redevelopments in existing locations, new locations and expansion projects. We consistently complete construction documents for Walmart Neighborhood Markets in 3 to 6 week. Wolverton saved Wal-Mart over $4.6 million in documented creative design solutions on projects through the Project Penny Program . Through our in-depth knowledge of design criteria, innovative problem solving and established relationships with agencies, we found creative solutions to a number of typical cost drivers, including environmental permitting, landscaping, signal design and retaining walls, that maintained access and aesthetics while meeting County/City requirements and Wal-Mart design standards.
