Wolverton Project in Chatham County Named ASCE Georgia Section’s Outstanding Large Project for 2018

At the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Georgia Section’s Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on Friday, Wolverton won the Outstanding Large Civil Engineering Project award for the Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at SR 21 and I-95 in Chatham County, GA. The project team, led by Project Manager Brad Robinson, PE and Traffic Engineer Rob Jacquette , PE, PTOE, was there to receive the award. The DDI at SR 21 and I-95 was a GDOT Design-Build project. The SR 21 at I-95 interchange improvements designed and constructed by our team provides a daily cost savings of $1.7 million PER DAY to residents and businesses in the area, meaning the project pays for itself every three days.
